The battery is fully charged and ready, so you will literally be ready to use it as soon as you get home, add water to the tank, and pour in a packet of the pesticide. According to the instructions on the pesticide, it is supposed to last up to 3 months, but I have read online that you can only count on full potency for 2, but depending on how large your yard is, you may not need all of the packets on your first application, leaving you with more for the upcoming months. If you have leftovers going into the winter, you just need to keep them in a cool place, as they have a 3-year shelf life.
